| Hibiscus Coast | Hibiscus Coast is the northernmost station served by Northern Express services. NX1 services run every 10 minutes at peak, and every 30 minutes off peak and weekends. Limited NX2 services serve the station at peak times. They run on the motorway between Albany and Hibiscus Coast Station, before joining the busway for a quick journey into the city. The station is located in Silverdale โ and is the gateway to the wider Hibiscus Coast, with connecting bus services reaching Orewa, Whangaparฤoa Peninsula, Gulf Harbour, Manly, Waiwera and even Warkworth. |
| Albany | Albany is the northern terminus of the Northern Busway and the gateway to the Albany Metropolitan Centre โ one of the North Shore's largest commercial, retail and civic hubs. The station has a large park and ride and is a major bus interchange, with dozens of connecting routes linking the wider North Shore, East Coast Bays and Hibiscus Coast. Westfield Albany is a 10-minute walk from the station, and the surrounding area has excellent cafes, North Harbour Stadium, Albany Stadium Pool and a popular skate park. |
| Constellation | Constellation is the Northern Busway's second station from the city โ a major park and ride hub and bus interchange serving the Rosedale and North Harbour business and industrial precincts. The surrounding area on Constellation Drive and Home Place has a good range of retail and hospitality, including Bunnings, homewares stores and a well-regarded urgent care centre. It is a major connecting point for buses serving the wider North Shore and across to West Auckland. |
| Sunnynook | Sunnynook is a quiet residential station on the Northern Busway, sitting between Smales Farm and Constellation. Just 5 minutes' walk away, Link Drive in Wairau Valley is home to a cluster of excellent Asian restaurants โ a well-known local dining destination on the North Shore. Sunnynook Park, also 5 minutes from the station, is a spacious community park with a playground, wide perimeter path and the Sunnynook Community Centre. |
| Smales Farm | Smales Farm is one of the North Shore's major employment and office precincts โ home to large corporate tenants including AIA, IRD and many others โ and has been transformed in recent years by the Goodside development, which has brought excellent cafes, restaurants and a lively bar to the precinct. The station is directly adjacent to Westlake Girls' High School. North Shore Hospital is a 10-minute walk or short bus ride, with an emergency clinic and pharmacy also in the precinct. Farro Fresh, one of Auckland's premium supermarkets, is also right at Smales Farm. The surrounding area has outstanding sports and recreation facilities at Onewa Domain and Takapuna Golf Course located across the motorway. |
| Akoranga | Akoranga is the southernmost station on the Northern Busway โ the first stop after the Auckland Harbour Bridge when heading north. It serves the communities of Northcote East and the western edge of Takapuna, and is directly connected to AUT's North Campus by a footbridge over the Northern Motorway. Akoranga has no park and ride โ it is a drop-off and pick-up station with good connecting bus services to the surrounding North Shore suburbs. |

| Victoria Park (Wynyard & Viaduct)NX1NX2 | The Victoria Park stop serves the Wynyard Quarter and Viaduct Harbour precinct โ a major office location as well one of Auckland's most vibrant waterfront destinations, with excellent restaurants, bars, a weekend market, the Silo Park events space and walking routes along the Waitematฤ harbour. |
| Britomart / WaitematฤNX1 only | The NX1 terminates at Lower Albert Street, Britomart โ the heart of Auckland's transport network and the hub of the rail network at Waitematฤ Station. The Britomart precinct has excellent dining, bars and shopping in the heritage laneways and post office building, including the Commercial Bay retail and dining precinct with over 100 stores and restaurants across multiple levels. Connections to all Auckland train lines, the Downtown Ferry Terminal (5 min walk) and dozens of bus routes. |
| NZICC / City Works DepotNX2 only | The NZICC (New Zealand International Convention Centre) stop on Hobson Street serves Auckland's newest and largest convention centre โ a major venue for conferences, exhibitions and events that has brought significant new foot traffic to this part of the city. The stop also serves the City Works Depot precinct on Nelson Street โ a converted heritage industrial complex now home to some of Auckland's best independent restaurants, bars and coffee roasters. |
| Te WaihorotiuNX2 only | Te Waihorotiu Station (City Rail Link, opening late 2026) sits below Albert Street near the Sky Tower. The NX2 stops on Wellesley Street directly above โ a useful connection between the Northern Busway and Auckland's rail network. The stops also serves the Aotea theatre and arts quarter, Sky City and InterCity coach terminal. |
| UniversitiesNX2 only | The NX2 terminates at the corner of Symonds Street and Wellesley Street โ the heart of the University of Auckland and AUT campuses. This stop serves students, staff and visitors to both universities. Many North Shore students commute daily on the NX2 to this stop. |
๐ Journey times from Albany to Britomart: Approximately 30 minutes at peak along the busway โ significantly faster than driving. From Hibiscus Coast, allow approximately 55 minutes to Britomart. The busway is one of Auckland's most reliable rapid transit routes, largely unaffected by motorway congestion in the peak direction.
