Ōrākei Station sits at the edge of the Orakei Basin — a tidal lagoon that forms one of Auckland's best short walks. Orakei Bay Village is right outside the station entrance — a beautifully positioned boutique precinct balanced between Ōrākei Basin and Hobson Bay, with impressive water and Auckland city skyline views. The village is anchored by Farro Fresh and Kings Plant Barn, and also houses eight eateries and bars (including a boutique cinema), a Thai massage studio, an F45 gym, a florist, an art gallery, homeware boutiques, clothing stores, a pilates studio, hair and beauty salons. Most retailers are New Zealand-owned. Dogs are welcome throughout the precinct.

🚗 Come by train. Parking at Orakei Bay Village is very limited and Orakei Road is a busy arterial — the train takes just 7 minutes from the city and drops you a 5-minute walk from the village.
