Kingsland is one of Auckland's most vibrant inner-city suburbs — a dense strip of cafes, restaurants, bars and two craft breweries all within a few minutes' walk of the station. Eden Park is just 250m south. The suburb buzzes on game days but rewards a visit any day of the week.
🏉 Going to Eden Park? Kingsland station is a 5-minute walk from the stadium gates and the best way to get there on event days. Trains run frequently before and after games. Special event buses also run for big events, though local bus routes can be disrupted around game time — check at.govt.nz/bus-train-ferry/event-transport for details.
Eden Park
New Zealand's national stadium and one of the world's great sporting venues — home of the All Blacks, Blues (Super Rugby), Blackcaps and Black Ferns. Eden Park also hosts major international concerts — past performers include Metallica, Coldplay and P!nk — as well as international football, sevens rugby and other large events. Kingsland station is the closest station to the ground and by far the best way to arrive on event days — avoiding traffic, parking costs and the walk from further away.
